Mom Quit Running Yourself Ragged...

As women and mothers, we play many different roles and most of us don't take the time off that we deserve. Everyone deserves some quiet time away from the family and our everyday responsibilities. Isn't it time that you invest in yourself? Do you know that you are worth it, right?

Just think about the course of your day: you play doctor, cook, chauffeur, teacher, lawyer, and the occasional referee as well.

Why is it you can remember the last time you did a load of laundry, the last time your children fought, and the last time your little ones did some artwork on the wall (smile) but you CAN’T remember the last time you took time out for yourself to concentrate on adding more joy into your life?

Are you tired of being superwoman and caring for everyone else but yourself? Click Here!

Too Much To Do? Too Little time?

Tips to Become Happier & More Empowered

By Aurelia Williams, author of Journey to Joy

Hey - Did someone press the FFW button?

Have you ever felt like someone just pressed the Fast-forward button on your day and before you know it the day is over and you are sitting there wondering what you've accomplished?

I love to organize and with working Part Time outside of the home and FULL-TIME at home with my business, 4 children and Husband I really rely on a schedule and many time management tips to keep my sanity (ok, so some of you think I am already insane, I won't argue with that) but at least I am organized ;)

Here are a few of my favorite Time management Tips (these are just a few of the tips I share with my Journey to Joy students):

1. Meal Planning: Try planning 1 - 2 weeks worth of meals at a time and write them down on a calendar. Do your shopping accordingly and prep tomorrows dinner today. You will be AMAZED at what a time saver this is.

2. To-Do Lists: I know most people HATE them but they actually do work. Just take a few moments out of your day (either in the morning or in the evening) to make a list for that day or the following day. Be sure to only put down the items that you MUST finish on this list.

3. Delegate: Do you have friends, a husband, children that can pitch in and do a few things for you? If so, be sure to use all of your resources.

4. Morning Rush: Scooting the children out of the door can be a huge time eater! Be sure to prepare lunches, lay out clothes and plan your breakfast the night before. This will make your mornings run a tad smoother.

5. Just say "NO"!: Such a small word that carries a might punch! If you truly can't fit something into your schedule and it is not urgent, just say No!. Keep a list of non-urgent things that you can do on hand for when you do have some down time.

Well, those are just a few of my time management tips. I personally set aside about 15 minutes a night and sit down with my Palm Pilot and make a short TO-DO list for the following day and it is amazing at the time this save.

Also be mindful of your own body. Are you a morning, afternoon or night person? Try to schedule your most time consuming tasks when you have the most energy.

Take Care!

Find Out Information on a Business Before You Sign on the Dotted Line

Find Out Information on a Business Before You Sign on the Dotted Line

Nearly everyone has heard the horror stories - a business takes your money and runs for the hills without ever providing the expectations set forth in the original agreement.

How many times have you heard about someone who was having their home remodeled, only to have the contractor disappear with the money and a half-finished house? Or perhaps the job was finished, but the work so shoddy that someone else had to be hired to fix it.

Maybe you wanted to open a retirement account and sought out a company that would help you invest your money, providing you with a healthy retirement down the road. Later on, you found out the firm had gone bankrupt, and the proprietor had absconded with your nest egg.

Buying an existing business can pose potential problems and opportunities for fraud as well. The seller may show you a profit-and-loss statement, but how do you know they have not doctored the books to make the business appear more profitable than it really is? How do you find out if it will earn enough to support your family?

Arm yourself with the power of knowledge
Your ability to make sound financial and business decisions relies solely on the quality and accuracy of information you obtain. You may find something that looks great on the surface, but what happens when you dig deeper? Are you just as enthusiastic as when you first started out, or have you been provided with information that now makes you skeptical?

The success of your financial future depends largely upon making informed decisions, especially when you are parting with large sums of your money. In order to ensure you have the best information available, you need become proactive and take matters into your own hands.

Invest in online resources to protect your financial health
There are many ways to investigate a business to uncover its business practices and level of profitability. The Internet offers access to an array of various public records to help you achieve that goal.

Instead of spending countless hours searching through millions of websites trying to find information that is pertinent to you, invest in a records check or background check service such as Net Detective. You will be able to search specific businesses or people to find out precisely the information you need, without wasting your time sorting through useless data.

Whether you want to investigate the past practices of your investment counselor, find out if he has ever been investigated for fraud, or ensure that a business you are planning to purchase lives up to its claims, an online background search can provide you with the tools you need to make an informed decision.

These services work by providing you easy access via your home computer to millions of public records. Rather than trying to track each of these records manually - such as tax returns or criminal histories - save yourself time and hassle by completing your search through powerful investigative databases, such as Net Detective.

Three Tips to Help Build Your Mailing List

Three Tips to Help Build Your Mailing List

If you've been around the internet marketing world for any amount of time chances are you've heard those questions on more than once occasion. So many people focus on getting to the top of search engines when they could be spending that time working on building their list which is actually more beneficial than being at the top of the search engines! Google can drop you faster than a blink of the eye but a list can “Google proof” your income.

Building a list can be challenging but with these three tips you will be on your way to building an incredible list.

1. Build a relationship first. Your main objective should not be money but building a relationship with your list. Don’t send email after email that just offers your product or service. Yes putting your product and services in front of your subscribers eyes is key to making money. However, they more than likely signed up for your list expecting to get something out of it not just sales pitch after sales pitch. And you will find if you do that you’ll have unsubscriber after unsubscriber. So focus on relationship building first and the monetary aspect later.

2. Be consistent. Consistency is key! Have you ever signed up for a list only to end up forgetting you even signed up for it because the emails were so far and few in between? Not only does it cause list subscribers to forget they signed up but it causes the potential for loss of income and then if you decide to start the list back up later it’s going to be tougher to get those subscribers to open those emails! So when you start that list make sure you are consistent!

3. Use a good autoresponder company. Each company will have different pros and cons you’ll need to evaluate and decide what will be the best for you and your needs. An autoresponder is where you’ll keep your emails, find your opt-in code, keep an eye on tracking – how many subscribers are actually opening your emails, etc. So it’s imperative that you have a reliable autoresponder company!

Those are just three tips of 101 that you will find in the 101 Smart and Easy Mailing List Strategies guide. If you want to start a mailing list or already have a mailing list pick up your copy of
101 Smart and Easy Mailing List Strategies for easy to follow tips that will help you build a strong business foundation – your list!

I Get Paid Every Friday For Real Free to Join

I found something that I think you will like. The company's name is YouData (youdata.com). They are trying to convince consumers like us that we should be the ones controlling our own data and selling our own attention, not third parties like broadcasters, newspapers, and spammers. By creating a MeFile at YouData.com, I now control what ads I see and when I see them. Best part - I am selling my attention directly to interested advertisers, for real money. That's right, I get paid for giving them my attention. I can use the funds to buy music and video online, donate to charities, give to my favorite blogs and websites, or keep the change myself and do whatever I want with it.

It's real. They pay. You should check it out.

Click this link to sign up. My MeFile ID, rastadata, in the "Referral Code" will tell them I sent you. Start getting paid click here.

With most paid to read sites you click and that is that. I click here and it is something I like and if at the time I cannot purchase anything I could always go back to my account activity and click on the advertiser's site and buy when I want. I really enjoy YouData, this is something new. I know the economy is really down now, I don't see this as a get rich site, it is a loaf of bread site it you want to look at it in money terms. I just like it the way it is and happy YouData exist.

Cocoa vs. Depression

Hi Everyone Another Mom's Message

I just read something all females knew already. Cocoa works good for depression. Most of the prescribed drugs for depression have side effects that is unhealthy and dangerous, a study came out that cocoa have natural ingredient that works well for depression.

I read in MedTalk.com about a study that was done to prove this. Here is the link to get the complete information http://www.natmedtalk.com/mind-energy-exercise/3528-cocoa-vs-depression.html.

Can you imagine how much money was spent to do that research?

All they could have done was to ask us females. Did they know that is why we love chocolate, it helps us cope (with home life, children, husbands, and just the things we have to go through).

I turned Vegan about 17 years ago, I was so upset I could not find chocolate without milk. When I did find the right chocolate I was in heaven. I don't know what to say about the people around me at that time before chocolate.

The study was pretty interesting. I thought I would share with everybody. Here is the link again. http://www.natmedtalk.com/mind-energy-exercise/3528-cocoa-vs-depression.html

My next blog will be about how to make money on the Internet without spending any money.

A Mother's Work is Never Done and That's Just Fine with Her A Mother’s Work is Never Done and That’s Just Fine with Her Ask any mom how becoming a m

A Mother’s Work is Never Done
and That’s Just Fine with Her Ask any mom how becoming a mother feels
and she’ll tell you it is the greatest experience of her life. Nothing
can top motherhood! Ask her again after a few months of little to no
sleep, when her 2 year old has ransacked the entire house or her
teenager has just started driving. She may give you an overwhelmed look
and let out a heavy sigh, but her reply will remain the same. She
wouldn’t trade the title Mom for the world, even on her child’s worst
day. Just take a look at some of these real-life examples to see what
we mean.

One mom of two, ages 4 and 5, had this to say when asked what she finds
the hardest, yet most rewarding part of being a mom.
“I find disciplining them really hard. Sometimes you just want to give
in and make peace, but when you hold out, they really start to get it
and become better people.

I also love answering their questions, but find them challenging at
times. They ask me what certain words mean or why something is a
certain way. Often, they're asking about things no 4 or 5 year old
should be concerned with. Not that they're taboo things or anything,
just complex things that are tough to explain.”

Here’s what another mom of 2, ages 9 and 1, feels makes it all
worthwhile. “The other day my 21 month old was testing every thing with
Mom. Getting into things he knew he shouldn't be, throwing tantrums and
refusing to take his nap. You name it he was trying his hardest to see
how far he could get with me. Needless to say, no work got done that
day, the house was a disaster and this mama needed a break! I was
almost ready to give up and say "Oh go ahead and tear all the DVDs off
the shelf and have fun! Then, he came running up to me with the biggest
smile on his face and his arms outstretched and gave me a big hug,
patted my back and puckered his lips for a kiss! My heart melted, I
smiled back, gave him a kiss and told him I loved him while all the
stress and built up frustration of the day melted away!”

Being a mother is the toughest job any woman will ever have, but it
also takes top honors as the most satisfying. There is nothing else in
life that can make a woman ready to pull her hair out and scream, while
evoking an extreme feeling of love at the exact same moment in time.
Moms invest so much in their children, most of which goes unnoticed
until they are older. She gets tired, but never gives up because she
knows the rewards for her perseverance will be awesome.

A mother’s work is never complete. Even when her children are grown and
have children of their own she wouldn’t want it any other way.

Making Money Selling Other People's Stuff

I've been doing a lot of reading lately about Private Label Rights (PLR) content. I used to think that it was only for lazy people who didn't want to do their own writing. But as I learn more, I've come up with lots of great ways I can use PLR in my own business.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, PLR is content that you get from the original author along with their permission to use it as your own. So you can get a great report, put your name on it and have your own product to sell or give away!

And although I haven't been through everything yet, what I have read is very good quality. It's stuff you would actually want to use as your own.

Since it's free, I highly recommend that you check out PLRWholesaler and see if they have anything that you can use in your business. There just may be an ebook or audio recording that you could quickly brand with your information and start selling to your list.

Check it out and let me know what you think... Here
